Trading systems that have to pass before they trade.
Emporfy builds quantitative trading software in Tallinn. Every strategy is tested on data it has never seen, then paper-traded on live prices, and most don't make it. The ones that do stay under watch.
How a strategy earns its place
A backtest that shows 300% a year usually describes the past, not the market. So nothing goes live on a backtest alone: a strategy goes through three phases, and has to clear the same bar in every one of them.

Discovery
10+ years of tick dataIdeas are searched and shaped on more than ten years of tick data, with genetic optimisers and machine-learning filters that throw out signals which don't hold steady over time.
-
Walk-forward
rolling 6-month windows it has never seenThe strategy is fitted on one stretch of history and judged on the next six months, again and again. Ten thousand Monte Carlo runs show how deep its drawdowns could really go.
-
Paper trading
90 days on live pricesThree months on live market feeds with no money at risk: real spreads, real fills, real latency, before any client capital is exposed.
To pass, a strategy needs all three, in every out-of-sample window
- ≥ 350 trades
- Enough trades that the result isn't luck.
- profit factor > 1.5
- Gross profit at least one and a half times gross loss.
- drawdown < 20%
- Never more than a fifth below its own high.
Passing isn't the end. A live strategy is compared with its own record every day; if its risk-adjusted return (the Sharpe ratio, over 60 days) falls more than 40% below what testing showed, it is paused and examined, and the people using it are told.
What we make
One product is live; the trading systems follow once they have a public track record.

What you can hold us to
No promised returns
Not on this site, not in a sales call, not anywhere. Markets can take everything, and we say so.
A public record before a sale
We won't sell a strategy until it has a live, real-money record checked by an independent service that anyone can look up.
Bad news first
When a strategy weakens, the people using it hear it from us, before they'd notice it themselves.

Who builds it
Ron Gonzalez Lobo
Founder and managing director
Most trading software is written either by traders who can't code or by engineers who don't trade. Ron does both: he has traded forex and CFDs on his own live accounts, written indicators in Pine Script and MQL5, and built production systems from blockchain protocols to the scanner behind Close Print.
Emporfy OÜ is a private limited company registered in Estonia, in the European Union.
For investors
Emporfy is at an early stage, and we're open about it: the trading systems don't have a live track record yet, and earning one is the next step.
Professional investors who'd like to know more can ask for our business plan. Nothing on this site is an offer of shares or any other investment.
